Assfly

The term "Assfly" is a derogatory pun on Conservapedia founder Andrew Schlafly's username, ASchlafly. It is in common use by RationalWiki users and is a commonly recurring meme with many independent coinings. The search function suggests it is in use on nearly 500 different pages.[1]
It was first commonly used by the Cabal and RationalWiki 1.0. Upon the commencement of RW 2.0 attempts were made to discourage the use of the slur as well as personal attacks in general to give RW a more respectable appearance, however these attempts failed[2]
Use of the slur was once an embarrassment to RationalWiki in off site discourse.[3]
