Balaam, formerly know as Baljit, is an editor who seems to be interested in various extremist communities on (and off) the Internet. Originally, he began with articles about Islam in the UK (though he does write articles about Islam in general) and has since contributed articles on various white supremacists, black supremacists, nutty neopagans, crazy communists and similar fringe groups. He was initially sysopped by Blue on 25 March 2011, and was reopped by David Gerard on 22 May 2011. [3]
A somewhat annoying feature of his articles is that they read like a "A said X, B said Y" newspaper article - a large portion of their text consists of (nutty) quotes by the members of the target community.
Balaam is often the target of angry members of the websites he writes articles on. Well, we think so: you can't really understand half of what some of them type.[4]
