Tim at aSK was originally known as CPAdmin1, and he was the same CPAdmin1 from Conservapedia, where he was a sysop and had been one of the few people ASchlafly trusted with siteadminship.[4]. He tried to be a moderating influence at Conservapedia, and to some extent RationalWiki (at least in terms of defending Conservapedia), but has sometimes encountered a cold reception at either or both sites.
He joined RationalWiki to "engage in... dialogue"[5]. His willingness to engage in earnest dialogue with RationalWiki is a rarity among serious Conservapedians (assuming he is sincere).
He made numerous edits and talk page comments during 2008, and was notable for his willingness to answer questions, rather than dancing around them like most other CPians visiting RationalWiki.
Ultimately, due to the increasingly hostile atmosphere at Conservapedia (thanks in no small measure to the return of TK), CPAdmin1 left the site at New Year 2009.[6] He also announced that he would leave RationalWiki too.[7] He caused a minor controversy by requesting to be blocked from the site. π willingly obliged, but Tmtoulouse strongly objected.[8]
Since officially retiring, he has returned several times to add comments, and may be considered one of the walking dead.
