GastonRabbit joined RationalWiki in August 2009 and was sysopped by Ace McWicked on the 8th of September of the same year.[3] He has never given or received a serious block, but have given and been given plenty of friendly/joke blocks. His talk page reveals no conflict at all.

Both his Wikipedia and RationalWiki userpages state that his background is in computers, and not science, but that he dislikes fundamentalism and pseudoscience. Both say that he's more into copyeditting and minor corrections, leading Human to declare him, " "editor in charge of hyphens of various species"[4] Of over 1000 edits (April 2011), and impressive 71% are to the mainspace, with only 3 edits to Conservapedia talk.[5] With an obvious wish to ruin the lives of RationalWikians, he has referenced TVTropes.[6] He often works on the "Google" and "Microsoft" articles, as well as those on videogames adding loads on nonmission stuff. As such RW now has detailed coverage of the OS wars and video game genres, which, while doubtless interesting to some, are of dubious value to the wiki's mission.
