The MarcusCicero Wars are the ongoing attempts by MarcusCicero and his many alleged sockpuppets to attempt to troll RationalWiki. Taking advantage of the anarchistic nature of the site and the good nature of most members, he has been highly disruptive. MarcusCicero himself considers them successful, but MarcusCicero only declares his intentions retrospectively. At the present, he is apparently barred from RW for good (Yeah right!) and is still telling anyone who'll listen that this is part of his plan. We can only assume he does not know the meaning of the word "plan".

MarcusCicero usually tailors his assaults for maximum damage by playing on recent issues or contemporary disputes. For example, he was directly involved in the Great Pissing Contest. Presumably noticing the dissatisfaction among some editors with the difference between the mission statement of RationalWiki and the reality, he launched the, albeit joke of a, RationalWiki Reform Society. During the Great MarcusCicero Blocking Incident he exploited the disagreement between users who wanted to dispose of him by blocking and those who felt blocking was against the spirit of RationalWiki. He attempted to troll the Loya Jirga Incident by using a sock to accuse the most popular proposal of being authoritarian. After the Loya Jirga was formed, he claimed that its formation was his plan all along. To this day, he continues to attempt to troll RationalWiki, although the only one who listens to him these days is an alleged sock.
