RationalGhey, formerly "Big Guy," was a heavy contributor on RationalWiki for most of mid 2010. It's unclear what happened, but on August 20, 2010, he (or someone in control of his account) went on a vandal spree, replacing content with "RationalWiki is defeated by vandals". This caused numerous editors to attempt to block the account, but it was pointless, as the account was a sysop and could unblock itself^[3]. Finally, Gooniepunk2010 intervened by desysopping^[4] and vandal binning^[5] the account.

The account implied that it had been hacked^[6], but RationalGhey was a anti-Conservapedia vandal^[7] and it is quite possible he decided to attack the wiki as an alternative to retiring.
