I am considering locking to stop what is shaping out to be a hatefest. Objections? Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 20:13, 24 March 2008 (CDT)
- Is it? I hadn't noticed. Of course Human'll still be able to post of course. I seriously think that MC is doing a TK - divide & conquer! Anon 20:27, 24 March 2008 (CDT)

- No, no, Anon (aka SusanG) bears a grudge against MarcusCicero. Understandable, but she is pushing "critical" into "vitriol". Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 22:48, 24 March 2008 (CDT)

[edit] Is he an atheist?
For am atheist he's remarkably keen to defend the idea that Jesus died on the cross.

[edit] Beautiful
You really know you belong when you get an article all about yourself on this thing. Pity Susan had to be the one to make it. Anyone want any questions about me answered?
With regards to me being an 'atheist' this is very true. But I did try and stand up to nonsense claiming Christ survived the crucifixion. Doing this made a ream of people latch on to my talk page, bringing up unrelated nonsense such as 'I can't believe you made Susan leave! I hate you, I'm calling my mommy!'
The truth is they just don't like me. And Susan is the wierd one... I read her homepage thingy and she believes in Celtic healing and New age crap like that? Talk about living a contradiction. 86.40.97.215 08:26, 25 March 2008 (CDT) PS- could someone please remove the 'Monaghan' from my location and replace it with Ulster or something like that.
Haha hah Good old thunderkatz - he found that website - No relation I promise you! 217.171.129.73 ps it's spelled Weird.

Please sign in, or get an account. Like most people, I have difficulty assigning an identity to a number. I find it disconcerting to read whole talk pages with half the posts by mystery users. Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 10:42, 25 March 2008 (CDT)
[edit] A request...
I would strongly suggest that we from RW try to contain our little dramas to RW instead of letting them spill over here, and further, that we perhaps leave the bulk of the reporting on individual users to FalseFlag and Hans Johnson, as they have shown themselves to be able to do so with a refreshing combination of snark and precision. By comparison, the present piece here is pretty far from their standards. --AKjeldsen 10:53, 25 March 2008 (CDT)
[edit] Ungtss reincarnated?
The furor surrounding you reminds me of the Ungtss incident, MarcusCicero. Just an observation. Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 11:03, 25 March 2008 (CDT)
- Your entitled to the opinion. From what I see of his page here he is quite different to me. Speculation that I am someone else, and not an individual who found the site by chance will exist, so whatever I say will be redundant. 86.40.97.215 11:19, 25 March 2008 (CDT)
- My intent was not to suggest you are not who you say you are. Rather, that you, like him, highlight certain deficiencies within RW. Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 13:08, 25 March 2008 (CDT)
- Ah, sorry. Just that I was suspicious because someone has accused me of being a sock somewhere else, I can't remember where exactly. 86.40.97.215 13:19, 25 March 2008 (CDT)

I said she's an annoying feminist type... Doesn't mean I am opposed to feminism or its political aspects. Its the personality she displays, by using her feminism as an excuse for being a man hating demon. AKA Germaine Greer.
- Diffs, diffs, diffs, diffs, diffs. Please give us diffs that demonstrate that SusanG/Toast is a "man hating demon".
18:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Your a bit of a twat aren't you? Obviously an exaggeration. Do you deny Toast is Susan? Its so bloody obvious and its on a very obvious paper trail on RW if you care to find it... 86.40.103.115 21:31, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Gone
I'm now officially gone. Seeing those pictures was too much. I really do mean it this time, all my previous parthian shots were for trolling purposes. Goodluck. The Adjudicator 00:40, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- all my previous parthian shots were for trolling purposes No Shit? WOW! Had me fooled! bahahahaha Ace McWicked 02:10, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- I find it amusing you are leaving and weren't blocked by someone --Smg87 02:16, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Answer me this
Why would Edmund Burke ask for his uni IP to be unblocked if MC can clearly circumvent the block with his socks? It makes no sense. Ergo, he can't be MC.
- Ahahaha. That one was quite amusing, Marcus.
20:13, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- Eh... Its just common sense? Will you not even attempt to investigate the motivation? Why is rww run by senior RW members?
- WHAT???? Are you really so stupid??? If I wanted to be accepted by you social freaks I would behave like the rest of you social freaks! Honestly, what a fucking retard you are! I just want to be unbinned so I can troll you at my leisure. You stupid cunt.
- Just so you know, I've now put myself on my 'aspergers' list. You fucking freak! My aspergers list is full of people without social experience or social intelligence. IN other words people who lack basic social awareness skills, such as an ability to understand personal motivations and empathy. I have a remarkable inability to understand basic irony and wit. From now on I will treat myself even worse than I treat that freakshow TOP. I am a weirdo.
- So, in other words, you have Aspergers, eh MC? It all makes sense now.... MNpunkboy 23:33, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
[edit] New blog
Human's determined to keep the trolling going by letting MC post his blog at (content removed) Guess it should be included in this article as well. Don't want to stop the entertaining DramaWiki.
- And no, I'm not MC. I'm just sick and tired of those people who want to keep MC as entertainment and the people who actually want to do something rational, without being accused of having thin skins.
Talking to yourself again, MC? And now you also have a blog on which to talk to yourself. Wow, you truly have earned my pity for your recent pathetic displays of desperation for attention. MNpunkboy 01:39, 19 February 2010 (UTC)- I'm genuinely not him. If I can prove that, I will. Sorry, might have been a bit fiery there, just a bit pissed off. I don't like it when someone who's got nothing better to do than hurl insults is given a platform. He should have been blocked, there's nothing authoritarian about that, just common sense. --Ipg63 08:46, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- I couldn't agree with you more, Ipg. While I'm all about free speech, what MC does is an abuse of that right. It would be one thing if he knew when to fuck off, but it's entirely another when he keeps being an asshole just for the sake of being an asshole. MNpunkboy 06:30, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Why is this article locked against editing?
Is there a reason I cannot edit this article? More to the point, does Trent know that he's paying for/supporting with server space a project that locks pages against open, public editing? That really, really sucks in so many different ways....99.199.120.222 02:20, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- The short answer is that this article is a magnet for a mega-troll. If TK were to show up and use his article for trolling purposes, then we would do the same. I would unlock, but because said troll constantly shows up around these parts, it would be unwise. As far as Trent goes, I don't know if he knows it's locked, but he has stated previously that he does not want, nor will he host, a site which becomes a forum for known trolls to harass RationalWikians (and MC is a textbook case of such harassment). Now, if you can find somewhere more recently where he has stated differently, then we will talk. MNpunkboy 03:03, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- (EC)The page has been locked due to consistent and disruptive trolling and editing by MarcusCicero himself. Sorry. You can easily create an account and edit, or if for whatever reason you want to stay an IP editor, you could propose edits o the talkpage (aka here). I don't really know what Trent thinks of RWW, but there are pages on RW that have been locked to IP editing due to disruption (I think Scientology and some templates, but don't quote me on this), so I can't see why he'd suddenly have a huge problem with this article being locked. Theemperor 03:05, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- While some articles (as opposed to templates/user pages, which are arguably another matter) have been locked on a short-term basis over at RW, this has been locked for six months now--that seems a little excessive. And y'all could always revert anything that stinks of trollery. Not a very welcoming attitude on the part of your sub-project, I fear..99.199.120.222 03:10, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Not a welcoming attitude on MC's part, either. He is guilty of harassing RationalWikians of all stripes and on all levels. Again, Trent has stated he is opposed to allowing such harassment. MNpunkboy 03:12, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Goonie, don't shift the blame for your calls to somebody else. If I want to complain about MC's welcoming attitude or lack thereof, I'll go to his website and do so there. This is your responsibility and your decision to use Trent's dime to prevent non-registered users from editing. I don't see how that's MC's fault six months after his last edit to the page... 99.199.120.222 03:17, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- The fact that that jackass still lurks about and has not been able to edit this solely because it's been locked is the reason why I stand by my decision. MNpunkboy 03:22, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] "Marcus bears his soul"
Since we're all very, very concerned that any BON is MC or a potential troll, I will simply point out that there is a tiny error in this article and leave it to y'all to deal with instead of, you know, editing it like a fuckin' wiki article. Footnote 20--unless you mean to say that MC is "bearing" as in "carrying the load" or something to do with ursine mammals, should prolly read "bares his soul." Have a nice evening. 99.199.120.222 03:49, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Never mind, hans unlocked the article. Fixed it myself. Thanks Hans. 99.199.120.222 07:02, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Cicero and Cicero
Do you guys think that MCs defense of RW against David Gerard was similar to Marcus Cicero's declamation against the Catiline conspiracy, when he saved the Roman Republic? 86.41.233.138 11:27, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
I agree 86.41, I do think MCs glorious defence of Rationalwikian values was comparable with Marcus Cicero saving the Roman Republic. 86.40.93.32 09:46, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- I absolutely concur with the two posts above. A most exemplary defence. --193.1.172.188 11:32, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Award banners
DO WE REALLY NEED THEM AT THE TOP OF THE ARTICLE? They kinda make looking at the article difficult and they are distracting. Quijibo 20:04, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Alternately, if we need to keep them, can we put them at the bottom of the article, like RW does with Conservapedia sysop articles? Quijibo 20:05, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Seems like that would be better. Liveware Problem 20:10, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Ah, what would we be without MC?
There is something, dare I say, charming, about his abuse and invective. Where other editors issue forth base hostility, he insults with style, and a laudable willingness to engage in self-deprecation at the same time. Witness this recent contribution:
- I try not to make fun of Maratrean, it'd be a bit like beating up the disabled fat kid who is annoyingly pleasant and personable. I tolerate him, even though he is an (Unsuccesful) cult leader. In answer to your statement Maratrean, yes I do have strange masturbatory habits. Though I'm not a homosexual, I jacked off to Edmund Burke's correspondance with Lord Fitzwilliam in 1795. I jack off over Burke's eloquence quite often actually. I also jack off to the thought of aspies running around in circles trying to protect each other. I call this sex game 'aspie jerk'. It has a double meaning as not only am I a jerk to aspies I also literally jerk off to them.
Maratrean 09:40, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
[edit] BRX edit
I don't think the opinion of a nerdy internet obsessional type should carry much weight on this article. These people hang on my every word, the more they declare that I've 'declined' the more evident it is that my attacks on their virility (Or lack thereof) is having a major impact. 86.45.237.70 08:55, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
- ListenerX didn't raise much concern but only shortend the thing, let's see how many edits are done before it goes away. If it never does it's probably public opinion, and what you expect to be the minority might actuall be the majority. Before you go all crusader on me, the same thing applies to my article, off course. --Ullhateme 10:41, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
