Talk:Tolerance

Ummm There are some Factual Errors or, at Least, Misunderstandings here.

My first Edits were at RW and not at CP. I pleaded for Tolerance and NOMA. I got somewhat Short Shrift at first but the Atmosphere later improved.

I was challenged to Edit at CP on the Basis that I would not Last Ten Minutes (Or something Similar.) This, in Fact, fitted my Objectives as it Had been my Intention to Edit there to carry out an Investigation.

Unfortunately I was (as it happens Unjustly) blocked for sock puppetry at CP before I could follow through. A series of Blocks and Unblocks followed which rather Spoilt my Plan. A Lot Later I did manage to get the name of Rational Wiki sort of Inserted in the Lenski dialogue though.

Much Much Later CUR, Possibly Sensing a Potential Ally, posted on my Talk Page (I think) and this motivated me to again attempt to Spread the Word on RW. So the Existing Article rally picks things up rather Late in the Day.

While, Tolerance, I did consider you a potential ally, your rather inane comments about the Global Flood, and my suspiscions of parody, make my attitude to you lukewarm. --ConservapediaUndergroundResistor 23:09, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Indeed, I started the article because of your essay and the debate around it, I wasn't aware of your previous history at RW, though I did remember seeing your username at CP. It looks like you're not blocked at CP btw. --  Nx/talk  18:47, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
No, somebody Helpfully Intervened on My Behalf. But the Moment had Passed. You saw my Username at CP? I had thought you a Relative Newcomer. Or are Entities Being Multiplied Unnecessarily?--Tolerance 19:15, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
(EC) I've been lurking for a while, If I remember correctly it was this comment. And no, I'm not a sock. --  Nx/talk  19:22, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
If you are looking for My CP Contributions they may be Hard to Find as I think they were Retroactively Scrubbed . I also had the Distinction of Having my Welcome Revoked.--Tolerance 19:19, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
How were they scrubbed? Oversight? I find that highly implausible. Phantom Hoover 19:21, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
The welcome is still there [1] --  Nx/talk  19:23, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
EC.I seem to Remember they were Removed. But Perhaps they were just Reverted. With my Medication it is sometimes hard to Remember.--Tolerance 19:24, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Ah yes. I see that that Nice Mr Rayment put the Welcome back.--Tolerance 19:26, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Medication? For what? Phantom Hoover 19:33, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Depression? Trurl 21:15, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
I have Mentioned RW, CP and RWW that I need a certain amount of Medication. I Clearly do not feel Ashamed of the fact and I have openly stated that Depression is one of my Problems. I do not care to go further than this. Nevertheless, things that I have put in the Public Domain are obviously in the Public Domain. People may freely Comment on them or not at their Discretion. (My Faith is Obviously unmoved by such Issues.)--Tolerance 21:40, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Is it important? I don't think it should be in the article, it's none of our business. --  Nx/talk  19:38, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
EC.I'm afraid that I Regard that as a Personal Question. But I have Mentioned my Medication Previously.--Tolerance 19:39, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Apologies. Phantom Hoover 20:20, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Well you shouldn't expect any sympathy then. Not to mention your ridiculous capitalisation that screams I'm a dick. Fall down 20:37, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
It's self-evident that the capitalisation is deliberate. Phantom Hoover 20:49, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Precisely so. Fall down 20:51, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
I have never Denied it.--Tolerance 21:13, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Sex

I quite knew she was female; everyone that uses bizarre English style as a personal statement is. Only women believe that such a ridiculous thing could possibly impress anyone. Fall down 15:29, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

I too am blesssèd with excellent hindsight. 217.171.129.nn 15:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
I've stated that before, on Usenet. I didn't just make it up. Fall down 15:49, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for Confirming my Gender Fall Down. Most Gentlemanly of you.--Tolerance 18:26, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Hang on, what about Germans? In German, all the Nouns are capitalised. Phantom Hoover 08:08, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Except Tolerance capitalizes verbs and adjectives too, as you can see in her comment above yours. --  Nx/talk  08:16, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
He said everyone who uses bizarre English as a personal statement is female, not just Tolerance's version. Phantom Hoover 08:30, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood what you said. However, Germans don't use bizarre English, they use bizarre German. --  Nx/talk  08:36, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Scuse me. Why are you debating Fd's theory like it's not retarded? Mei 08:55, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Because we have nothing better to do? --  Nx/talk  08:58, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
We do have something better to do: fix the page capitalisations. Phantom Hoover 10:34, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
It's so obviously true that it's not debatable. Also, I don't understand the references to German. Fall down 14:04, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
You really are a sad little man aren't you? My personal theory is that Fall down is impotent - this is so obviously true that it's not debatable. Mei 09:38, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome to sleep with me and find out. Fall down 20:37, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
I don't Wish to sound Impolite, but Perhaps you could Abuse Each Other in Private and not on my Talk Page?--Tolerance 22:22, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
This isn't your talk page. This is the talk page for your article. "abuse each other in private" = I'm trying to eat here. Mei 22:42, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Ah yes. So it is. Please continue abusing Each Other.--Tolerance 00:15, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Capitalization

It is Well Known that Imitation is the Sincerest form of Flattery. I must hide my Blushes from those Males who Imitate my Writing Style.--Tolerance 18:30, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

No, it's scornful mockery. Phantom Hoover 18:54, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Whatever. It shows that People are responding, even if they do not Understand.--Tolerance 21:33, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Responding to your terrible grammar isn't a very positive thing; it just means they listen to you less. Phantom Hoover 08:07, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
I feel that it Gives my Prose a certain Dramatic Something with it would Otherwise Lack. I Understand that Others may have Other Opinions.--Tolerance 22:19, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Well it Certainly gives your Roses a Traumatic "something". I, for One, sustain red Onions. humanbe in 22:59, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Essay

Tolerance deleted her essay. What do we do about it? -- Nx / talk 18:20, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Dated

I understand that I may not Edit this, but it is a little Dated.--Tolerance 21:00, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Well, what do you want changed? I'll update it for you but you have to point out what's needed - I know nothing about you.. I do like your name though. Refugee 21:54, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Sock

I am of the Opinion that Tolerance may in Fact Be a Sock. TyrannisAn iron, yet caring fist 02:25, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

How Smoothly you Emulate their writing Style. Perhaps you are Their Sock?--Brxbrx 03:29, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
The question is not, "Is it a sock?". The question is, "Whose sock is it?".--False Flag 21:42, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
That is The Question. Do You have any Theories as to Whose Sock It could Be? TyrannisAn iron, yet caring fist 21:52, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Frequently Socks push an Agenda which fits that of their Master; are used as a Straw Man to make their Master look good; are abused as Punching Bags by their Master so as to raise the Profile of their Master or the temperature on the Wiki. (For instance Marcus uses socks to do most of these things.) But it's difficult to see Tolerance being used in this way.--False Flag 21:07, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
I am of the Opinion that Tolerance is a Humor Sock, much the way of Gnusmas or Goat. We may Never Know the whole Truth.21:16, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
"Truth" is, of Itself (both in Whole and in Part), a Slippery Beast.--Tolerance 15:35, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
