Template has one parameter, which contains a standard external link, minus the brackets, which the template provides for you.
Example: {{el|http://rationalwiki.com/wiki/WIGO WIGO}} becomes WIGO.
This template is now compatible with diff links and static revisions, unlike previous versions. However, the = must be be double braced like this: {{=}}.
For example: {{el|http://rationalwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title{{=}}Conservapedia:What_is_going_on_at_CP%3F&oldid{{=}}138467 WIGO as of March 18th}} becomes WIGO as of March 18th
This template is designed to make external links sleeker and blend with the text better.
If there are spaces in the url, be sure to replace them with underscores, the URL replacement text may have spaces.
