Template talk:El

You need http for MW to recognize an el.
I think the problem with the diff links might be the "?" in the url. Still 'vestigating.
PS, do we even need this? I suppose it's easier than typing the whole "span class" thing to get rid of the arrow, but otherwise, el's are easy and we don't have to fight captcha any more... humanbe in 10:40, 19 March 2008 (CDT)
- It's the "=" signs. Removing them both makes the template "work" (but not the url, of course) What's the code for "="? (like "%3F" = "?") humanbe in 10:45, 19 March 2008 (CDT)
- OK, %3F = 63 = ?; = = 61 = %3D. I'll try that. humanbe in 10:46, 19 March 2008 (CDT)
OK, the problem is the = sign, the only way I have been able to do it is replace any = in the URL with a template {{=}}, I tried using another template {{eq}} which also works but as the = is already in any copied URL it's probably easier to manually insert the braces.
