Might I suggest that this be renamed "Complaints about User:Human"?--False Flag 22:14, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

I was going to comment on that too. Do we really need to give over half the main page to te activities of one user? weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 12:52, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Very interesting indeed. Human 20:16, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Only interesting for you & RA/HansJ/Vicious. A little tiresome for everybody else (imho), if there is anybody else here. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 22:25, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
You are free to add whatever developments you want. I won't remove them; this is a public wiki after all. Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 22:47, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
It's only "interesting" when you know that RA = HJ (ie, the additioner was closely connected to the controversy) and that Pink also probably = RA. Prove me wrong. This last round of "news" is an embarrassing attempt at grandstanding by one editor. Human 04:36, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
I know well enough that HJ (& Vicious) are RA (I don't think Pink is/was, but that's a different issue), but I don't think that makes it "interesting", just a little pathetic in that he's using this wiki to pursue a vendetta & basically perpetuate the conflict. I think the dominance by one user makes for a bad atmosphere & may well be one of the reasons that nobody else is getting involved in this site. For the record, I'm sorry to see Susan, Pink & Human go (not that I believe all three have genuinely left for good) & hope to see some or all of them return. I missed most of the conflicts that led to their respective departures, but I doubt they were anything that couldn't be resolved with some patience & perspective. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 13:54, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Vicious isn't me. I don't know who they are, though I am inclined to think it is SusanG (this wouldn't be the first time she's socked up here).
I would be indescribably pleased if others regularly contributed anything to this site. Sadly, the primary reason few people edit here is because few people are interested enough to contribute. I am the "dominant" editor because I am often the only editor. If there were a small community of people working away on the site, I would be all too happy to step aside and largely disappear. Unfortunately, that has yet to happen (I have hope, though). Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 22:21, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Maybe, but I see a lot of past edits & comments by active RW editors whom I haven't seen on here recently. I haven't been around RWW long enough to know whether these are people who just drop in occasionally or whether they've decided not to bother with RWW. But try to take an objective look at this 'News' page & think about how it looks to other people who aren't involved in the conflict between you & Human. I really think this might be alienating other people from being involved in the site. Hence I've removed it from the Main Page. If you really think we need it, put it back, but I'd suggest thinking about it carefully. I really think it would be better to concentrate on articles & user profiles for a while, & leave the news idea until RWW is a bit more balanced with more editors involved. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 13:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
I agree with you. Me running News from the Front was a bad idea. Stepping back to look at things, I realize that I transformed the NftF into a vehicle for my personal conflicts (a tragedy, considering what it once was and what I once [1]). I'll focus on the articles from now on (yet avoid touching Human's or my own). Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 19:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
In an aside, I think the reason I resurrected NftF was because I felt that most (all, really) of our articles were increasingly out-of-date, and being too lazy to hunt through revision histories to update and source them, I took the easier path and used an article that only required glancing at RW's recentchanges to update. (Doing something for the sake it being easy is seldom a good reason to do something.) Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 19:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
