Like most RationalWiki editors, Tyrannis (for a while known simply as Ty, and for a short period following a joke by AD as "Tyrannis for now"[3]), appears to hate Canadians and the people they revere.[4] However, unlike most RWians, these obsessions do not revolve around Conservapedia; indeed, he is one of the few editors able to claim that over half of his edits are to the mainspace, with only 1.34% chatting with the sad obsessed bastards on Talk WIGO:CP. (Although he does edit the cesspit that is 'fun' space[5].) It should also be pointed out that while he has a high edit count, a substantial percentage of these mainspace edits consist of following other editors around to make very small changes to their edits and/or using HotCat to add a single cat per edit, thus multiplying a single edit of whatever utility into many edits.[6] some people have been annoyed by the fact that he listed his landmark edits on his user page.
Tyrannis uses the block log as a way to keep fascinated completely disinterested RW editors apprised of his daily activities such tasks as eating, sleeping, or going to class;[7] although several editors similarly use the block log as a sort of Twitter-feed, Tyrannis does so with much higher frequency, and sometimes does a little "over-sharing," revealing intimate personal details like his embarrassment at being a virgin[8]. This causes some annoyance to some other editors.
Ty was also accustomed to use his ninja rights to change himself into a bot in order to perform special secret tasks outside the view of most people, who will typically view the Recent Changes page with the "bots" option off.[9] Most of these tasks seem to involve the mass addition or removal of pages to or from various categories.
Ty also edits from his cellphone from time to time, under the username 'ChristopherS'. He may also have other socks.
Ty apparently comes from a family of racists.[10]

On 9 April 2011, Ty archived his talk page[11] and announced his semi-retirement,[12] citing something to do with "taking over". This was the cue for some trolling from a BoN,[13] followed by some gentle ball-tonguing from other members of the RW community.[14][15][16] In reply, Ty declared that he was merely cooling his balls heels for a while.[17]
He has LANCB a few other times, but has always returned.
