DEFCUR is a measurment used on RationalWiki to measure one's current level of emotions towards ConservapediaUndergroundResistor. Like both its namesake, DEFCON, and the measurement of Headless Chicken Mode, DEFCUR uses a number of varying levels to determine the strength of emotion. The levels range from 8, complete adoration, to 1, utter detestation.
Level 8 You feel that CUR is a valued, insightful contributor at RationalWiki, and that he is an intelligent, insightful contributor.
Level 7 You feel that CUR's positive contributions outweigh any controversy surrounding him.
Level 6 You feel that CUR is attempting, yet failing, to become a positive contributor.
Level 5 (default) You either do not know who CUR is, or you have absolutely no opinion on the subject.
Level 4 You feel that CUR, while making some positive contributions, is surrounded by too much controversy to ever become a valued and respected editor.
Level 3. You feel that CUR creates large quantites of needless controversy and is a pain and nusiance to other, more valued contributors.
Level 2. You feel that CUR, through his own stupidity, naivete, and lack of forethought, causes a multitude of serious problems, and should be dealt with accordingly.
Level One. You feel that CUR, in generating such controversy, clearly does not have the best interests on RationalWiki at heart, and is a serious and malicious troll, on par with TK at Conservapedia.
level Xero. You are in levels 1-3, but Xena pissed you off far more than CUR could dream of doing.
Please note that this method can be used to both gauge a users general feeling towards CUR, and also their feeling at a specific time. It can also be used to gauge the feeling of the community as a whole. Currently, it stands at about 3.5, but has been much lower in the past.
