[edit] Two stalkboxes

We have two stalkboxes because I felt the original one allowed for too much personal detail (e.g. real name and age), while also including too many items that were usually left blank (e.g. articles created, wikifauna) (two of them added by me, admittedly). Thus, I created Stalkbox2 to replace it.

Stalkbox2 removes the real name and age, because several people requested the removal of their real name from their article here, so I figured it was better to remove the entry entirely, while specific age was both unnecessary and a shade stalker-ish. In turn, it adds "demographic," so we know what sorts of experiences that person brings to the table (i.e. middle-aged professional; college student; married; etc.), while still being appropriately vague. It also adds "hobbyhorses," so you can know at a glance what sorts of things the person will often talk about. Hans Johnson _{I'll get my hans on it} 23:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Forking the templates is silly. I've merged them (using all the options available on both, except "articles created" which I don't think is worth keeping) & made all fields optional so only the info input is displayed. See Template talk:Stalkbox. The privacy issues are already covered by RationalWikiWiki:Privacy policy so unvolunteered information should not be posted or should be removed, but when people are quite open about their name (e.g. Human), there's no reason not to record it. Personally, I don't care much about a minor edit at ED; if other people do, you can justify, explain or apologise. But attempting to prove you're not a racist by listing a bunch of "not racist" things you have said or done in other contexts is a fool's game and will only make you look ridiculous, as you have already done, or worse like you're protesting too much.
